Today we visited the Newseum... new since our last visit four years ago. The kids got to play weathermen, photographer, and reporter, as well as test their ethics in competitive, interactive quizzes that had Daniel fist bumping in the air and high fiving with complete strangers.
All in all, this was a great first day in D.C. The metro on the way back to the hotel was as hot and crowded as I've ever seen one. Still, it's hard to beat D.C.'s public transportation. Now we're off in the pursuit of a great Indian restaurant.
