Delighted in Denver

Kerrie and Carlos should be giving "Denver in a Day" tours, for we have been here for just over 24 hours, yet already we feel at home. From a fabulous birthday dinner last night in "LoDo" to breakfast and toy store shopping this morning in Cherry Creek, from a tour of University of Denver to rock wall climbing, from a breathtaking drive to the Red Rocks Amphitheater to strolling along the 16th street pedestrian downtown shopping district, from drives through beautiful neighborhoods and parks to a stop at the very popular Bonnie Brae ice cream parlor, we have spent a fun and exhausting Denver day. Meanwhile, the apartment is outrageous; next time we're coming for a week :-) Thanks, Kerrie and Carlos, for an amazing time. Enjoy the photos. Tomorrow, we go on a quest for wheat.

Dad and I just love the blog! What a wonderful start to the amberwaves tour. Daniel looks like he's a professional rock climber! Kerrie and Carlos look like Denver agrees with them, and Maddie looks beautiful. Enjoy, and drive carefully!
